Rainy season on Guam runs from July to December according to the weather experts. But it seems the months of July to September is the peak rainy season where we experience quite a few rain squalls. In most cases rainy season doesn’t mean that it rains all day, all night for weeks at a time. It is rare where we have rain all day. Usually during the rainy season on Guam, Guam experiences more frequency of rain, and a more humid atmosphere.
One of the things you do need to keep in mind during rainy season is mold. Being close to the ocean and humid weather is a recipe for mold. In order to avoid mold in your home, it is a good idea to turn your air condition unit on periodically or run a dehumidifier. Depending on where you are, it may be necessary to have your air condition on more often. Mold can not only be a nuisance, but can be hazardous to your health.
